Meet the Honourable Commisioner of Transportation
Hon. Barr. Osima Ginah, is a Native of Anguluma, Rivers State. He is the current Commisioner for Transportation Rivers State. He had his Primary Education in Kalabari National College (KNC) Buguma and Secondary Education in Port Harcourt where he otained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and the West African School Certificate (WASC). He attended the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt where he graduated and obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B). He has served in various Capacity one of which is: the former Honourable Commissioner for planning and urban Development in Rivers State.
VISION
The Ministry has the vision to create a livable transportion sector for attainment of the good life, to be the key to transportation development in Rivers State with sustained excellent performance in all aspects of our operations.
MISSION
The Ministry is created as the control factor to achieve order in the transportation sector of the state. It is our mission to maximize long term stakeholder value by ensuring committed and credible services in the Ministry of transportation thereby meeting the aspirations of the people of Rivers State of Nigeria.
CORE VALUE
The Ministry of transportation was created as an intervention Ministry to address the untoward level of transportation decay associated with Port Harcourt Metropolis and Environs. To address this quantum decay, the present administration came with a determined mindset and political will to tackle the problems head-on..
